Fire Fingers Splashed across the incandescent night A thousand shooting stars, impact and light, in colored plume For sudden soar, a frenzied flume, grasping at heights with fire fingers Exploding to mime; the mirror of celestial sparkle lingers A pleasant accent to the ice cubes, beading cool against my glass Grasp of flames, reflected in the moist and upturned face of grass Vivid, as the colors play, trickle down the heat of day All about the fireflies sway, in samba sweet And of it all, what recollects in time beyond my window seat Just this, that what is racing to be free, may in fact with certainty Take its hum and hue from there to here Fire fingers, turn the burn sincere Strobe, the fireflies, holding court quite clear Copyright Kkh 7/5/09 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (07-07-2009 07:38 PM).] |

Love it! You've made the night sky dance with those fireflies and shooting stars! |
