we walk alone The very cruelest companions on such a moonless night of formless fears and dark, profound uncertainties, swirling in the melancholy evening breeze, are sharp-edged memories of evanescent youth and traceless love forever lost without choice or reason until ... we walk alone. --- b. e. adams 7/5/2009 . |

That was your deeply melancholic perception, dear Bruce. It's a beautiful, intense write. But I want to say that things change when you change the way you look at them. What once was is preserved in all its beauty, even if it is out of sight, and we can either enjoy the memories or let them hurt us. I know of course that we are sometimes inclined to think that we walk alone ... but that is our perception. I believe that we never ever walk alone, we are loved. You are loved. Enjoy a beautiful Sunday! Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

I believe that it takes someone who has loved and lost the joys of close and meaningful relationships, to then be able to write a deeply melancholic poem such as this. You express your feelings so eloquently, Poet Bruce. Linda |

Sometimes I think this feeling of melancholy produces the most beautiful poems as in this case. Ida |
