Searching for inspiration, I ended up in the Poetry Challenge forum and saw an old challenge for a poem on falling out of love. Here's mine: From Beginning to End It starts with a smile A look…coy and cautious A sigh…like a prayer A longing…to touch Yearning…to feel Falling…so fast into Love. Love’s end-- Falling…away from each other Yearning…for what is lost A longing…unmet A sigh…never heard A look…unnoticed It ends with a tear |

I really enjoy the challenges. It's great that you are rambling through them - I like your poem. It's interesting and I might have to try my hand at it. Alison |

Oh my! I have been there, and felt this pain. And, cried those tears. |

I love the symmetry of this! Especially how well you encapsulated the rise and fall of love. The romantic in me both laughs happily and sighs sadly when reading this. Well done! I may have to try this - intriguing |

Very clever construction here. And I enjoyed the all-too-true sadness of it. Nice. |
