I remember days by the lakeshore Your eyes reflecting the restless waves Haunted was I like never before Much do I try to remember those days Only memories though, and little comfort Not your arms or their tight embrace And the further I get from it, The more lines fade from your face I am left grasping at the empty air And even that blows away On the cold wind now there When I think of those days My loss is written in tears suppressed And heard in every single song Even happiness can depress, Knowing you are forever gone |

Yes neighbor! I too have suffered a devestating loss just three weeks ago. "They" say go on it gets better, well I'm waiting adagio |

Aww! Thats kind of sad and bittersweet all at the same time. Losing someone even if not in death is a hard thing to deal with. I hope that if you have lost someone that you have been able to deal with it through writing this wonderful poem.  Take care now!~Dreamer05~ |
