I branched my hands into the life rays. Fingers twigged and meanders, through pillars of winds. Never want to bow, letting my leaves of wisdom fall. Lest it takes inches off, and leave me bald. I climb every inch to reach the air above, just this little more.... to surpass the evergreens and spore. I'm a little tree, never want to ask more. But couldn't be more than just small. |
