"Spoken in Anger"

These words in anger spoken
Cannot ever be undone
For with them hearts were broken
And no victory was won

And though you may regret it
What was said is not unsaid
And some shall not forget it
In their hearts and in their heads

When next your temper's burning
And you ache to speak your mind
Just know there's no returning
From these words uncouth, unkind

I couldn't have read this about four hours ago, oh no.  Truer words were never spoken I can attest to that!

"And some shall not forget it
In their hearts and in their heads'

so true,
however,
when we are not able to contain oneself
we must suffer the consequences
