Listen to me, every man, woman and child,
And you'll hear the tale, of an elf who went wild,
It all started out on a cold day in winter,
Wee Elf he sat down, on a chair with a splinter,
Wee Elf up and yelled, and then he did something worse,
Instead of just yelling, Wee started to curse,
“Gol' durn it, dang nab it,” causing Rudolph to blush,
The toy room door opened, a voice bellowed, “Hush!”
Needless to say, Saint Nicholas was ticked,
Up from wee chair, by wee ears Wee was picked,
“You're coming with me Wee, to the bathroom we'll go.”
And there at wee sink, Wee cried out, “Please, No!”
Mouth washed out with soap, then off to wee room,
Wee Elf was a crying, wee life full of gloom,
An hour passed by, then Mrs. Claus came,
To wee room of Wee Elf, calling out Wee Elf's name,
“You've been punished enough, so come to here to me,
Out to the toy room, to tell all you're sorry.”
Out of wee room, with wee head hanging low,
Mrs. Claus and Wee Elf, to the toy room did go.
Wee gave wee apology, in wee voice oh so small,
Then Mrs. Claus said, “Milk and cookies for all.”
Cookies were eaten, and all the milk drank,
“Mrs. Claus that was yummy,” Wee Elf he did thank.
But at that very instant, Wee Elf went “ACHOO!”
And out of Wee's nose, milk-soap bubbles blew.
Mrs. Claus smiled and started to giggle,
St. Nick guffawed, as his belly did jiggle,
The elves started laughing; the reindeer laughed too,
Then Wee Elf started laughing, what else could he do?
The harder Wee laughed, the more bubbles flew.
Soon all were hysterical, a regular zoo.
Wee laughed so hard, Wee started to snort,
Wee bubbles a flying, with each Wee retort,
“Wee is hilarious,” yelled Edgar the Elk,
“Wee's blowing bubbles, like a wee Lawrence Welk.”
Santa Claus was near crying, his face turning red,
“Gol' durn it, dang nab it, this is funny,” he said.
The Missus quit laughing; gave Santa the stare,
Remembering the words, that Wee Elf did swear.
The toy room got silent, there was nary a peep,
Perhaps it was time, for reindeer to sleep.
The ice was then broken, by Elf oh so wee,
Who had a solution, quite simple you see,
Said Wee Elf to Santa, “it is time I think,
That you come with me, to my bathroom sink.”
Mrs. Claus nodded, “it is only right,
That you my dear husband, a soap bar do bite.”
So ends my tale, of a wild bubbly night,
It seems in the end, things turned out all right,
With Santa and Wee Elf, all snug in their beds,
With visions of bubbles, afloat in their heads.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A WEE NIGHT!!!

Well now, wasn't that a wonderful Christmas tale!  I saw the story vividly, and will read it to the girls Christmas Eve along with 3 others.  This is what I saw, and Merry Christmas to you and Rose.

I know it is the Christmas season when I see one of your adorable wee elf tales.  They would make a wonderful book for the granchildren, I think.  Merry Christmas, Tim!

It is with great joy I welcome Wee Elf's return to these blue pages! *S* Thank you, Tim, for all the smiles and grins... and may your Christmas be a wonderful one! *S*

And Martie's right... as much as we look forward to Wee Elf, I can just imagine his adventures in a book. *G* Just in case our hints take hold, I'm placing my order for a copy NOW! *S*

What a great idea Tim!  "In your spare time" why not collect them all into a book, and I will buy a few myself.

Happy Holidays

while reading your poem one hack of an animated story came to life.

You are a true storyteller Tim.

Children - even the big grown up ones will LOVE it!
