Upon soft sheening sand,
alone i walk cold,
bedewed by blustered salt
spray, head down into
the wind of an
improbable tommorow. Empty days
of longing to hear
the cadence of a
voice that calls to
me from a past
life that sees easilly.
Winter time brings heart
clutched warmth to my
bed, thoughts flood through
like silver esturies in
moonstream, blackness my mind,
illuminated by love, tender
devotion precious as rare
birds eggs, my life
colour different, but unforgettable.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Lao Tzu 6th century BC.

Phil, this poem engaged all of my senses.

~ Captivating, vividly descriptive and drew me in to the moment. A very fine piece of writing.

I always enjoy the nature walks through your eyes.

This is just beautiful, inspite of the chill.
