I beat the sun like brass, making three big bowls bowls to catch water from those eyes. With no water to be caught, I dipped my beaten sun-brass bowls dipped them into the sea. I carried the sea for you, placed it neatly in your lap you told me I can't take this I can't possibly take this, don't even want it. I took it back then, drank every bowl dry. Drank them dry and hurled them into the sky, and roared red things roared red things until they were the sun again. ________ Last installation of the Eyeball miniseries. Arctic wind, there are three parts. They're all on the first page here on open poetry. Sunshine, Sunshine part DEUX, and Sunshine edition III. Aenea, thanks so much. I appreciate it. I'm really glad you enjoyed. Fall in love early, fall in love often. |
