Blizzard White out The magical face of winter draws breath from the wind Exhaling drifts of immortal dust, in spirit of the season Silence thrusts its regal blanket on the earth Sift and flurry, bliss and fury falls Not a creature bough or feature calls Stand me in the blind of creations eye White out If I shall fall, then cover me For only fire will melt my heart, and drench me in color And to that end, do I delight in white Copyright Kkh 12/10/09 |

I love long walks in the winter snow, and good poetry, good write. Z. |
