On the far horizon
the dream still glimmers,
Though, like a mirage,
it shifts and shimmers
as it dances o'er the sands of time
into a starry night sublime...
where I will follow.

Dear Ida, this short and poignant piece is evocative of one of my favourite songs:  Moon River.  Keep following that path.

Ida,

I love starting my day and ending my day with you. Reading your poetry calms my insides.  I love what I see with your words.

MarchMadness - A vivid dream has a magnetism. Even when it loses its clarity and shimmers, we are still drawn to it to reestablish the lost focus that first pulled us. Very nice work Ida. Namyh

..."into a starry night sublime"

Short and sweet this one. Magical, and woven with strands of star dust, just the way dreams should be, and close enough to touch!

This is great, Ida.  I guess we all follow our dreams because they're so much quicker than us.  It can seem like an eternity before we catch up with them but I suspect that we lay the groundwork now for a future lifetime if such a thing be.
