Peruse of Autumns Gold Spectacle, waves wheat on wind Harvest bold and plump sequin Sigh and symbol here again My fingers play in autumn Moan of soulful songs implore Under foot the founding score In a daze begun before My fingers play in autumn Turn the soil rich and brown Spade and shovel dipper down Shining on both cap and crown My fingers play in autumn Jewel be dangle limb for limb Shaggy trunk from wide to thin Hum of wonder gold within My fingers play in autumn Copyright Kkh 11/13/09 |
