            GUESSING  COMPETITION

Pat & Mick went to a new service station address
It was to fill up their old holdens fuel bank,
The station was running a new guessing contest
For all it’s customers if they filled up their tank.

They had to think of a number between one and ten,
If they guessed right, then free sex was the prize,
Pat going first said he thought the number was seven
But the attendant replied he was thinking of nine.

The next week they thought they’d again try their luck,
It was his turn so Mick said he thought it was four,
The attendant said nine but next time they filled their truck
He said, they are bound to be lucky, that’s for sure.

As they drove away in their battered old ute
The disappointed look on Pat’s face was quite bleak,
He said that the contest was rigged, you cannot refute,
Oh no it’s not said Mick, the wife won it twice last week.

My Dad always told Pat and Mike jokes. He knew so many I always wondered them all. This cute little poem brought back memories.
