Bones has an abnormal take
on Thanksgiving Day.

While most people are thankful
for what they have,
Bones is thankful
for having a little peace,
just a little peace.

He’s thankful for time alone,
when no one is around
to hurt him.

He doesn’t need a big feast,
just a little food,
to keep his backbone
from rubbing against
his belly button.

That’s really all he needs,
and he’s thankful for it.

That
and of course,
a little peace.

Bobby

Hello Bobby, was wondering about you. It's great to read your gratitude poem. It looks like you have been in pain, I am sorry.
May you enjoy wellbeing and peace and serenity in abundance!

Love,

Bobby is back! ~ and so is Bones!

"He doesn’t need a big feast,
just a little food,
to keep his backbone
from rubbing against
his belly button."

~ Now that is what I'd call thin! You do have a way with words, Dear Bobby!

I'd like to fatten Bones up with some of my home cooking! ~ and I'd let him enjoy it in "peace"!

Love 'n hugs,
Linda

Bones asks for so little.... I hope he gets all that... plus all the things he dares not wish for!

Thanks dear Margherita,

No, I'm lucky, no pain is involved, just too much "quiet" time in bed to suit me well.

Hi Bobby, I have been wondering how Bones was getting along, but if a quiet rest and

a little food will make him happy then he's going alright. I hope you are going alright as well, Take care my friend.

Thanks LindsayP,

For your kind thoughts, and words.  Bones and I both are doing well.  As you know, it doesn't take very much to keep us happy and well.

And, thus, for poor old Bones we sadly shed a tear.
As prepartions for the feast on Thanksgiving due draw near.
We hope for poor old Bones there are better days ahead.
But I must stop writing now so I can go to bed.
