You're inexplicably baller.

Fact.

I love my dog, and my truck. It's that simple, really.

The Fireweed need not weep. It is still beautiful in its nakedness.

Alison the Artisan, these Natural vignettes are highly appealing. You are very talented.

this is great, the notion of ephemerity, the similarity with poet's work, the vanity and emptiness, your poem is short but full of everything.

Such a reminder of our frailty ... and still it also suggests that frailty and change hold their very own beauty.

And you see it and I thank you for sharing it so magically with us, dear one.

Love,
Margherita

Scarlett O'Hara... deprived of ball gowns but lovely nonetheless... regal in her drapes. *S*

Beautiful work!!!

Linda,

I agree with you.  She is still gorgeous, but she weeps from vanity.  All I can do is capture her beauty in pictures.

Love,
Alison

yann,

Thank you for seeing the beauty of winter.  I love that you 'get it'.

Thank you, dear Joyce.  If I were a poet like you, I would simply write of the beauty.  I don't have that depth of talent though.

Love,
Alison

-

Margherita,

I was thinking of you when I took this picture.  You took such delight in the summer fireweed pictures that I posted - I wanted you to see that they retain their beauty in winter too.

suthern darling,

Perfect analogy - she is our Scarlett, isn't she.

Love,
A

-

Ida,

You think this way too, Ida my friend.  I am glad that you are here to read and share.

Love,
Alison
