A small word, softly spoken tentatively given credence by your graciously given gifts of love. Given to delight me,excitedly deposited in my holding place, to share and remember together. Days wandering on beaches and windswept moors, flasks of tea hot, sweet, like our love. Memories of sadness, long gone swept away by your caring, calming, caresses,I am shipwrecked Marooned hopelessly on the beach of your love, footprints washed clean by crashing, crescendo, waves throwing us gasping, soaked, sinking together into our shared oblivion... |
