Exhaustion overtakes me It overruns and consumes me Stress and fear join this exhaustion For, as we all know, misery loves company So I sit in my chair at work Trying not to go berserk But my medications are too strong And I'd fall asleep which is wrong. Exhaustion overwhelms me And I can't think I become unresponsive And my work is incomprehensive I'm stressed out about nothing But it feels like everything I'm scared of results I can't control And tests I can't patrol This exhaustion and stress and fear It all becomes misery making Me wonder what new company Is near Arana Darkwolf |

Maybe 'new company' is what you need right now! |

hello rachael, I give you some company, medication is not so good, and the lighter it is the better it is, your poem is touching because it reveals how we need to keep in touch together...Thanks for the enjoyable read. yann |

Thank you all for your comments. I have no idea how I managed it, but yesterday, before I had even taken my afternoon medication I had fallen asleep 3 times during 2 calls (I work in an inbound call center) and both calls could and should have been relatively short, but due to all the exhaustion and stress, I just couldn't seem to stay awake. I just hope quality doesn't listen to those calls. LOL Arana Darkwolf |
