Sweat dripping, clothes sticking, my body wet all over head to toe, on a cold ice cube I am licking, open the window and let it blow, aching for that cold shower, heat is rising over one-hundred-three, getting more hot by the hour, my hair becomes drenched completely, salty sweat runs across my lips, down the center of my back, from the glass I take a few sips, I notice the leak and the crack, Scents of vanilla begin to arise, from body lotion applied, Misty shower in not a compromise, out of it I step, towel dried, laying naturally upon my bed of silk, fans blowing wind all over, cooling sensations like cold milk, as I await my lover, bring it on, bring on the heat, turn it up one-hundred degrees, a slow burn, tingling feet, nature is such a tease, maybe I'll stand in front of the air conditioner? |

Yo dear A Romantic Heart, This reminds me of summer in the American South before air conditioning. The poem is very hot. Love Bobby |
