Singing to Snow Fall again upon my waiting tongue Abruptly change songs autumn sung You come too soon, too soon to sleep The snuggled warmth of hearth to keep Evolutionary white and boundless drifts that overtake The seeming of an empty landscape lay awake Float again upon my garden bright Drench with luminary stars of ice chips by their rite For I am out of meter, empty of the summer sun Expressive of the grace encircling and so hard won And I will dance delight to see again the soft of white For this I know, again the snow will fall And I will greet with face and feet, in wonder still and all Copyright Kkh 10/16/09 |

"For I am out of meter, empty of the summer sun Expressive of the grace encircling and so hard won" Fine lines, Kathy. For me, the taste of the first snow was always a thrill! |

Personally don't see anything wrong with your 'meter' but then I even fail at getting it right with the parking 'meter'...but I loved it...(your meter that is) j. |
