Okay, so you bought a computer and hooked up to the internet,
just so you could click on poems just like mine,
and be suitably entertained instead of watching boring TV shows.
And all your got is this lousy poem for your efforts.

Well, boo hoo, You spent all that time and money expecting
to have your toes dancing in the air thinking of teen-age love.
Or crying rivers of tears at the sadness of unrequited yearnings.
Or punching the air in anger at the injustice of hell-bent life.

You expected to jump up and shout “Euika, that fellow can
make turbulent confusion as clear as a mountain lake.”
Well sorry, bucko, you got taken because
I just don't have the brains for that.

I really liked the honesty in this poem. Speaks solidly to all of us here. Well done, and much enjoyed.
