Like the Wynter Needs the Spring I play across their minds each day In comfort of the words they say. Adventuring the out of in. Tomorrow's try: a new begin. Although at times they go astray I play across their minds each day To teach within from heart and soul Those little ones in my control. Reflecting on their love of all I hold them up, to never fall. I play across their minds each day And often tears I wipe away. Like Wynter needs the Spring each year To feel the warmth to persevere. To lift those thoughts that on me weigh, I play across their minds each day. M (Wynter) "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Keep playing across their minds, and lifting their eyes beyond those day-to-day mishaps. This is a very uplifting write, Maureen. |

I love the rhyming on this one, Maureen. And the spelling of 'wynter' to me is always a cool thing. No pun intended. |

I love the formal style you have given this work: it seems so appropriate to the content. A most thought-provoking piece, describing with elegance what all parents go through. Sutra 4: Do not expect your Path to be smooth. It will have rocks, slippery portions, and parts that are washed away completely. Persevere. |

Thanks everyone~~sorry I haven't been around much but between teaching and then freezing at the Renaissance Faire lately (we had an early snow and very low temps) I am just too worn out. Hoping for some more normal October weather. ![]() M...and I used the Wynter spelling because that was the name I used associated with this poetry site way back when ![]() |

splendid, as always, Maur. The unique way you phrase is always a welcome sight. I went to a Renaissance fair once, but they had it a week later, and the field was used for paintball. I went ahead and stayed and played paintball- never got to see a single set of tights. Go figger Take your hug from me, Jeff |
