In a close distance Observation lies obsessed With dancing futuristic fantasies Of how life could be Walking peacefully Down a bitter winter street Wrapped in the warmth of loveliness No drama served Only soft kisses And two-mile a hour finger trials Along the back of your neck The kind that would make ice cream scream And all the M&M’s would blush with envy Closing their eyes in imitation And through observation Revelation came Hand delivered what tomorrow would look like Like yesterday And yesterday before And rhythm repeated itself Like heartbeats and seasons Without reason You would wake up to I love yous This is the gift I posses In a close distance Eric P. I very much enjoyed this poem. The colors and textures of shivers and thrills. Welcome to Passions |

Dear Eric, Welcome to Passions! Wow....what an entrance. What images! You entice through food...are you a chef we want to entice recipes from? Please check your email for a Very Special Welcome! " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

Hi Sunshine, No, I'm not a chef. I hadn't even noticed my references to food until you mentioned it. I wrote this on my bus ride home today. Eric Eric P. Martin |
