She bobbed her head and told me this "I know that I will love the first one that I kiss" I told her "NO! Don't do it wrong. Love is something to cherish" "Oh! You silly cow" she said."All the fun you'll miss" So the word spread Gossip said “Would it not matter if the person were dead" In town was general uproar They were always ready for more She walked in style It had been a while She stopped being vile She was good at guile Then came Jillian She felt she was one in a million Just cause she owned a billion Misconception- she was actually a hellion Now Melody went her way To the market on a sunny day She knew she would find the one. Say right here right now...Yay! Proud Jillian strutted around Poor Melody fell on the ground This had to happen, it was bound Grunting, screaming and yelling and sounds of falling, mixed sound! I was just in time to witness Market transformed to stillness To hear an anguished whisper among the others. I recognized the voice; it was Melody's "God almighty! I just kissed a boar!" To read these comments coming from such lovely people, it actually made my day. This my first attempt on a poem of this kind... And I'm really glad you'll liked it Thank you It sure is really nice to hear you liked it.. It is true Ma'm many people encourage such silly notions not knowing anything at all. Fatal indeed...
