The Distance to Calm Your eyes, in mirror symbolize; a covenant of blue For certain, sink the depths of lunacy, sipped as wine In the quiet hours before dawn, where I leave myself A bouquet at your door, Lilly and autumn rain My heart has soared the skies, filled with such surprise Arched in midnight gold, your hands to mold, my dreams Love is never only as it seems More the waking of an ancient fire, every true desire Pulsed upon the white of pure devotion, quantified emotion All that is worth giving seethes its passage to the center of my soul Your eyes, in mirror symbolize; the pale array of linen day, a heartfelt psalm Your kisses, but the distance to calm Copyright Kkh 10/3/09 |

"More the waking of an ancient fire, every true desire" Yes...this and much much more. Wonderful writing. The eyes are the most beautiful and poetic parts of a person. |
