(read with soft jazz horns, playing soft and slow, in the background, beautiful piano....) big band era Frank Sinatra sound.....this is how I heard it as I was writing it)  Dance on a cloud with me, take my hand, cheek to cheek, on misty paths, we glide, Hold me close, by your side, dance on a cloud with me, dream your dreams, make them come alive, When the night lights glow, your eyes I want to see, hold me close, so tenderly, As we dance, hand in hand, through the universe we stand, you and I, so lovely, Angels musical harps will play, together you and I will stay, here in our world of love, You are my heart, my soul complete, the one I love, smile so sweet, dance on the clouds with me, Forever young, you and me, here high above the world, and I will sing my song, As we float along, together in perfect harmony, hand in hand, cheek to cheek, Through the milky way galaxy, dancing, romancing, heart to heart always we will be, Come take my hand, and dance with me.....  |
