‘I don’t know what to think,’ she said ‘I feel too much to feel,’ she said And if you want to know the truth again Just have to wrap your arms around the wind ‘And trust in something higher than us,’ I said ‘There’s something missing inside of me,’ she said ‘There’s too much noise to hear me,’ she said Clearness is offered, but will never be found We are one with the sky, the water, the ground ‘How much do you need to be touched?’ I said ‘Can’t pretend this ghost again,’ she said ‘Can’t let in, or even begin,’ she said With her arms folded, eyes downcast The sun was drowning in the past ‘Things of gold cannot buy your soul,’ I said ‘Just another day, a minute, an hour,’ she said ‘Just hold me again like a little flower,’ she said And once more with arms around each other Trying, and praying not to smother ‘Just me and you this complete,’ I said |

And if you want to know the truth again Just have to wrap your arms around the wind I almost copied the same line that brneyedgrly did... it's brilliant! *S* But so is the entire poem... I especially love the 4th and 5th lines of each stanza... outside the conversation yet such an integral part. It's good to see you posting again!! |

‘How much do you need to be touched?’ I said..... Very tender and loving~ For a man to ask this is pure gold, From my womans perspective, I am always needing affection and attention. It is rare to find a man willing to give it and notice that you need it...in my experience anyway. Maybe I just haven't met the right one? ~ARH |

Brneyed, thanks. Different? Maybe just a little. Suthern, thank you for always reading, the old and the new stuff. ARH, I am sure there are plenty of suitors lined up for you. Thanks for the comments. |
