Without knowing your name, I searched.... I dreamt, wished and prayed for you, ..... an eternity, I knew, since we'd been one Faint whispers in the forest taunted me, Gave me hope or left me empty, The echo I could never grasp... Your name, essence, kindness, heart and soul... Always..... just..... out of my reach M...n.....an..... I heard the wind whisper in my quietest moments of prayer, Tears pouring down my face, my heart aching to be with you Lone wolf with my shadow by side, Between each battle fought and won, Listening for the faintest song, Of a long ago promised vow M...n....an.... whispered the pines, Tormenting me, testing my faith in the anticipated rapture, The joy of gratitude for the gift of our reunion Your name, your warmth, your breath haunted me.... You see my anguished tracks, wolf, hunting, waiting, watching, hungry.... Where are you? M...n...an... whispered the snow as it caressed my skin, It's cold bite, mocking the warmth I crave from you, My own private hell, a test of faith greater then imagined... M..i.n...an M..in...gan... Mingan.... Mingan...Mingannn Your whispers... I breathe deeply ..... In your arms, now I am free .... I am home |

Thank you Margherita for your warm welcome and kind comments. I wrote this a while ago for my fiance. We originally met several years ago and lost touch but we were always on each other's minds... looking for each other online... It was very much worth the wait and search to to have such an amazing soul in my life... Thanks again, it's a pleasure being here |
