Well, I told myself I'd write something positive this time around... and I suppose I succeeded to some extent in the second half of this poem. Enjoy. Whispers of Gray I hear the whispers of a world turned gray where joy met suffering and inexorably collided into a single immutable form void of its constituents Whispers more tender than imagination can dream hints of life and death spattered into the wind broken with the faintest grasp for meaning or truth pieces recombining miles, eons, away, into nothing significant And yet I still listen, I listen for the day when I can hear the meaning behind the shrouds of gray when the colorless opacity of the world fills my ears with colored vision Only then will I whisper back a hint of love a taste of death and nothing in-between. |

It's in your power to transform the grey and use that brush of colors inspired by love ... Hope is there. Lovely write. Love, M |
