Autumn is here, autumn is here, sing a song spread the cheer, old man frost is near, oh, dear , oh dear, Leaves are turning orange and red, time to throw more blankets on the bed, cozy up to a warm fire instead, oh the winter, leaves will be dead, Enjoy the season while you can, baked pumpkin pies cooling on a stand, so good to eat, just right out the hand, mmmm, mmmm, ain't autumn grand! HAPPY FALL TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Lovely poem, Millette. Autumn is the time for us northmen to return home from our voyages, with our spoils. :p 'Wailing voices on the wind, urging me to turn. Distant tortured screams. Cold blue fires burn'. |

EA~ Yes, I feel more alive...I want to pile the leaves way up high and just run through them, make scarecrows and decorate with pumkins, hay bales, fall mumns, glorious colors and all the festive celebrations to attend...We have the corn maze, the pumkin patch to go find the perfect pumpkin, you get to ride horse and buggy and on some hay. Then there are all the fall festivals at each school, with auctions, homemade food,bingo, Burkes Garden fall festival you get to buy homade can goods, homemade jellies, honey, quilts, etc. Fall is just wonderful for the beauty of it! ~ARH |
