I cannot help but wonder- Just how it came to be- The magic thing that seemed to grow… Engulfing you and me. The feelings that words can’t express- That ‘neath our armors pry… And leave us sad and empty- With a deep desire to cry. Impossible, the fantasy, Which oft my mind consumes… With both the chill of winter frost- And sweetness of spring’s blooms. The placid peace of mountain lakes- The pow’r of raging sea… This tragedy or triumph- That has captured you and me. |

Impossible, the fantasy, Which oft my mind consumes… With both the chill of winter frost- And sweetness of spring’s blooms. It is amazing what the eye of the beholder sees - you captured this feeling so well. I enjoyed your poetic diversion this day. Still love your stores of the old West (or Texas) though |
