The homeless threesome sat in the park
with their crackled voices
and frantic legs
moving to the drum of their voices.

The three wood carved benches
comforted their baggy jeans,
their suitcases and shopping carts
sitting next to them, raggedly worn
like their uneven beards.

An elder man sat in-between the two
with a cigarette dangling from his mouth
as the smoke coughed onto his blue/red jumpsuit.
Speaking with a cackle,
He wondered who could finish the Sunday crossword.

The elder statesman,
with a visibly faded tattoo on the right side of his neck.
The right side of his bench
sat his fidgeting friend,

A pony tail resting behind his rampant voice,
his jaw like a jigsaw, moving his head
left to right, right to left,
and his hands rifted through his magazine,
and then he stopped.
Got up, and started a conversation between the two men.
A revolving conversation between the homeless threesome.
