The billboards are climbing too high
How far must we climb to see that sun set
The girl i thought i would spend it all with
Isn't here to witness the last rays
Where could she have gone
Is it worth a fight

Alyson how much can i lie
You were my end of my road
My goal that is so far i cant even reach it with a stone

Is it time to put out this candle light?
How much can we do to find a ladder for one last time
The billboards have left us in the shadow
McDonald's Arches are still here
Are they golden like the first rise of the sun
Can we figure it out or will we just fall
I have never felt alone
The sun has died
My lost dream wont be found
Alyson was my life line

Your heart weeps and sunset collaborates to make you feel the melancholy.

Lovely write. May you gain clarity!

Love,
