Give me a pen Paper to free my soul from This cage its trapped in Can't understand what gets a hold of me What makes this poetry Pour from me So forgive me It's so hard to see Will you listen closely? I went about it all wrong Accordingly All wrong It was never a song It was the silent drumming The loudest signing The softest impact. |

I'm glad you have pen and paper. We are social animals we need to be able to express ourselves and to have someone listen to us. I do a government job: a warm body filling a slot, no one there wants my opinion. So I write poetry. Keep the pen going, please. |
