             road into winter

The first falling leaves glow softly
by Autumn-fresh evening moonlight,
against a lovely milky way backdrop
of star-tipped dreams and memories,
stretching above this final road…
that all must walk alone.

A lovely Autumn write, Bruce.
I've always favored warm Fall colors, the wonderfully vibrant time between Summer and Winter.
