Hey Troop

We’ve stowed
Your gear as usual
On the old white boat

We’d heard for years
That out on this particular
Bearing there’s something
Actually worth going
Out to sea

It won’t be easy
The journey’s bound
To be long and hard
The depths again
Dark and cold

Yet of course
Old friend
It’s not like
We haven’t been
Down under together
On this road before

We’ll wait for you here
By the other shore

Til then take care

Bill

Deeply poignant, John.

And Osprey was a beautiful name for the boat.
