Maybe I read her wrong all this time and all along my writing always unanswered my pleads go unnoticed these days these feelings are just all out of focus Maybe she is no more than the rest no more better but so much less those glamor girls with over-sized hats cosmos and pearls unrealistic women with unrealistic vision never preferring a realistic man with a realistic mission She is educated. a romantic which bode well for me she even respected the written word and loved my poetry but now it seems she's thrown me away I make one mistake and become just another cast away just one more excuse to keep her heart at bay someone that's emotionally unavailable or simply unattainable having never received my rights no matter how unalienable girls with the goo goo eyes expecting a perfect man with perfect thighs money sculpted and looks this superficial world with its superficial hooks no heart no art no soul for when time came to play with two boys that'd like to stay no respect for their feelings no respect for their expectations no respect for their dreams no respect for their aspirations one man performs drumming drumming drumming always a rum, a tum, tumming and another left in waiting outside on the stoop like some poor puppy with ears that droop always some illness always some excuse to get away just another reason to leave her heart at bay but when the girls come to call it was always hell yeah no excuses the girls are balls to the wall maybe she's promiscuous maybe a tramp maybe we just fell into a clever harlot trap but she seems so gentle so coy so shy so sensitive and sweet hoping hoping one of us is the right guy choices choices so many choices do we call her do we stay quiet are you really blind to notice when good men are dieing for you when good men are crying for you or maybe we were just wrong all this time and all along [This message has been edited by martiniat8 (09-15-2009 03:04 AM).] |

Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong, but this write is quite a treat and a view into the psyche of a man's yearning heart. You write well and always succeed in giving the words impact and rhythm. Love, Margherita  |

To call or not to call That is the question Whether it is nobler in the mind to call and risk rejection. Or suffer not the slings and arrows of the outrages of rejection and not call to end all possibility of pain. Personally I'd call, the worst, she says no and laughs at you for being a fool. They do that sometimes. Oh, well, what the hell, you'll figure it out. Intelligent write!!! |

To call or not to call that is the question. Whether it is nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of rejection or not to call and end a sea of troubles, yes end them. Okay, what's the worst that can happen: she rejects you and calls you a fool(some do that), and you spend a week beating your head on the wall and cursing yourself. Can someone out there answer this question. Enjoyed your write!!! |

Wow GBride, well well well put. I was just thinking about this when u put this reply in. I think you're right I think ill call her tomorrow and just ask her to my bday party this weekend and be done with it. Thanks |
