Rocks fall down upon
the empty crevice
of dirt and sand
where I stand.

Escape can not happen
for the first stone
has now been cast.
Time passes fast.

One thousand deaths
are approaching quickly.
The end has come,
nowhere to run.

So I close my eyes
and slowly count out
the seconds till
my blood shall spill.

With my last breath
and all that I am.
I say to society,
"I won't go quietly".

___________________________

A loud thud echoes
across the silent plane.
His death was heard,
fulfilling his final words.

He didn't go quietly,
but in the end
it doesn't matter,
for he is dead.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All

I'm gonna be honest, i didn't particularly like any of your poem except for the ending, which i found quite funny.
