I just canÕt feel it anymore I canÕt feel what itÕs like to be a real person, A real something that runs with feet, Runs around the parks and dark eyes And fills the hallways with a broad smile. IÕm getting slower and older But my young bones and flesh ArenÕt agreeing with my mind With my pale face around my blue tear eyes, Because even I can cry inside, Even if I donÕt show it I can cry and still be happy Like a winter dining with the sun And a homeless man drinking to another day Another pointless day Because I canÕt feel anything but I feel everything. |
