Jimmy opened her hand,
Her hand still cold,
And she was shaking under her teeth.

He didnÕt want to lose her,
DidnÕt want to stand for nothing,
Nothing of dirt between his shoes,
Between the crust of his eyes,
He wanted her to mean something.

He kissed her once,
Paused, kept walking,
And they kissed again.

She kissed him,
But did their lips
Curved onto each other the same way?

She was a bleeding child,
A sunken soul
And Jimmy was there,
There with his hands for her to fold.

She whispered once,
Whimpered twice,
And fell into him like a collage.

Fell into him for all the wrong reasons.

Wow, what is the mystery here. What are all the wrong reasons. He is a loser? He will treat her badly? He has a junky car? He is a drunk? Come on give!
