Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2009-09-10 07:22 PM

Have you ever wanted to feel the earth shake?,
shake beneath your feet? touch the sky, fly?
conquer the world, feel free, feel so alive?
come with me, I will show you this and more,

For there is a love awaiting in my heart,
love above this earth, passionate love,
unconditional love, tingling love,
love that last through anything,

Come with me upon the winds, the stars,
fly with me through the clouds,
dive with me deep, into the oceans of life,
swim to Islands of paradise.

Come with me as we journey together,
through different times, of history past,
futures filled with magic and imagination,
laughter and joy overflowing your heart,

Come with me, be my love, share my heart,
my soul, my mind, being eachothers best friend,
long after the fires have been tamed,
our love will find a way to raise the flames.

Come with me, to love unknown, life so happy,
love so true, come with me, just you and I,
we will conquer the world with our love,
lets write the love story of a lifetime,

Come with me...I have something to show you...

"long after the fires have been tamed,

Ooo. I loved those lines. Very good in my opinion.

I always read your beautiful poetry, Millette.

There is an angelic decorum in this one.

If I don't always reply, it's because I'm never sure what to say.

'Wailing voices on the wind, urging me to turn. Distant tortured screams. Cold blue fires burn'.
