Pierce heaven, glistening,
blinding my eyes to truths
buried 'neath warm sands .
Will time create wrinkles,
or massage to liquid- silk?
As shells in a sea of storms
tumble to shore at high tide,
shattered by whispers, harsh
and turned to powder
as years move on.

Luna plays hide and seek
on this night of nights.
Beckoning sweet surrender.
dancing between storms;
juggling a million flecks of light.
And I wonder. . .
He walked on water,
can he rise above transgressions of the heart?
.
Love sings for all.
Will you love me forever?
Clouds sweep across an imaginarium
illusive, intrusive.
Forever is now!
As a million flecks of light
pierce the heavens, glistening-bouncing,
blinding my eyes to truths
that shatter as crushed shells
carried to shore on a midnight tide.

Luna touches her face and smiles.

Oh, yes, dear Janet, luna is the number one witness to romance. There is such brilliance in your write. Transgressions of the heart are the sweetest and those that deserve always full indulgence I would say.

You look lovely, dear Poetess, while gazing at the stars.

Margrit, I am constantly amazed at how well you understand what I write!!! I have had so many different interpretations of this poem sent to me and for the most part , no one really "gets it" You hit the nail right on the head with this one (lol)
