The inside of my heart has been torn into a million lifeless pieces that now lie broken upon the cold wet floor. Life has flowed slowly out my body in its darkest shade of crimson red, for I have hurt the people I love through all the stupid things I said. So now lies the entirety of my world, and with rage they call for my head. What am I, one mere man, to do against the hate of all people focused upon me. Maybe I deserve their silent malice, so should I just let them come now and repay my injustice with my life. They say that once you have no friends, that is the first sign for a man to lower his head, embrace the end, and let the hatred fall upon him. I hurt someone that I truly care for, so this punishment shall be my due. I will let them ravage my sad soul, in hope that at the end of everything, my heart will once again be whole, and the world will forget my mistake, then remember me as being its friend. That is my only hope, my saving grace. The only thing that can lift me out of these great feelings of hate that consume my life at this moment. So forgive me all whom I have hurt for I truly did not mean those words that seemed cut your heart so deep. please take you anxieties out on me, the one who caused you all this pain, and the man who made you this way. "Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All |
