Fine weather.
mosquitoes in journey,
impervious to sky.

Astringent feelings,
I am afraid of the winter,
my shoulder dislocates

Who speaks
to trees in cages ?
who listens to the rose?

Fine weather.
impervious to sky,
I leave you.

Dear Yann, this is exquisitely done.

But at least in Winter there will be no mosquitos around! I am one of their favorite victims and I can't say I requite their affection!

For the shoulder, you might want to go on swimming ... even if in a pool?

I feel like lingering here for a while ... saying good bye to Summer. But here there are no signs at all, the heat persists and we all are losing our minds, unable to think straight (just what you said in "fatigue").

Love and joy.
Margherita

YES ...

"who listens to a rose?!"  ...

a 'penning' most pleasant !!

[assuredly, this poet 'listens'
   to a fine Scottish rose!]

Winter is knocking at the door and looks like not many of us are a fan of winter. I know about the rose, hardly there are any roses in my garden during winter, even though it doesn't snow here. Nice write...

hello dear Margherita, yes winter will be deprived of mosquitoes, that's a good point.  I did a lot of swimming during solme years after my dislocation, now I am used to it, I simply try to avoid some gestures, I can't do what I want and have to care, I think I didn't discolcate since 7 or 8 years.

about heat, I guess you will regret it very soon, enjoy your summer in the eternal city.

yann,

This reminds me of dried flowers that I find in my huge old dictionary.  I love it.

Hi yann, The sensations of summer here has been 100 degree heat, and recently, terrible brush fires, so I'm happy fall is finally here and looking forward to winter. Of course, I understand there are winters and then there are WINTERS. I love your "trees in a cage."

Hi Ida thanks for the comment, I totally understand your point of view, winters and summers can't be compared everywhere on the planet, I heard about fires and worried about you and I checked on the map of L.A where stood the fires...Now the coming automn will bring some solace I hope so...Thanks for the comment and all the informations.

have  a nice day
