Memories Memories of blue sky and calm seas Distant lands and roaming sailor's tales Coloured coral reefs, gaily painted fish Warm winds that fill the canvas sails Tales of hurricanes and storming tempests Ships that have disappeared alone Strange weather in the Bermuda Triangle Words that turn to stone Islands that appear on ships radar But are never seen again Music that seems to be in the wind The Albatross that calls your name Memories of blue sky and calm seas Now only seen from a sandy beach Watching the far horizon The memories now out of reach. |
