Excuse me for a moment, I must apologize for my accent, I apologize I am not heaven sent, Nor am I magnificent, Yes, I must apologize for my accent, My skin tone, Its not dark enough, And my hands are quite tough, My nose is too long, My eyes are too small, But maybe for a second you can forget about it all... If I apologize for my accent, Apologize that I am not heaven sent, You might forget about my clumsiness, My stutter, And sometimes I forget to speak clearly, I utter, You'll forget about it though, when I say I apologize for my accent, For I am not heaven sent, I am just a boy, With a heart to give, You could take it, You know, Just don't break it, I might not live.
