for he has forged the cross he carries. it's iron, tempered stronger than his soul. It's weight is never ending, guilty chains and remorse it's essence extols. for if this cross, should be his bride. and come upon the alter, it's promise to he abides, regrets given for each path faltered. for in it's cold and forever unloving embrace, It pledges to him life with no rest. It's love making copulation surrendered weight of death, upon his breast. for this cross that he carries, it's gown, train and veil longer than never ending sea, length cast wedded regrets' unyielding promise, what will become of he? for this he bares it's consummation, the night of marriage bed indeed. What will his union bring forth of this love? What will be his seed? |
