Apollo rides the western seas, And casts his rays on balconies, Where friends are sharing joy and wine, His light, it quickens eyes that shine. Her eyes of blue, and golden tress, A secret love she will confess, That's nurtured long with silent tears, 'til advent of her woman's years. Her hand glides as she walks away, To shores that mourn the dying day, Apollo smiles, he doesn't miss Her tasting love within my kiss. And all the roads that I've been strolling down... now I've found they all seem to be marooned. So profoundly doomed. |
