I can see the finish line
scrawled in pink chalk by children
dancing in the near distance.

You're parked on a pedestal
lifted
with too much tire
for one man to handle.

You're waiting on a pedestal
for me to drive you
over rocks and through mudholes.

You're waiting for me
to abuse you.

I love my dog, and my truck. It's that simple, really.

Brown eyes, I do too. This jeep is a 5 speed, it has a "granny gear" so it will be awesome for crawling rocks.

Alaboo, I'm glad that you like me, and the way that I write. I'd buy you a drink if you were here.

Linda, don't tempt a weak man.

Thanks E.

Sea... I took the jeep out for it's first wheeling session this weekend. I crawled some crazy rocks. Maybe in my next jeep poem I'll post a picture.

I love my dog, and my truck. It's that simple, really.
