I'm being tosses around where the sea and rivers meet. the ocean rough and grand and the river calm and fleet. The ocean's strength is power as the waves come crashing by and the river's trait is peacefulness reflecting azure sky. I am tossed and I am turned every which way every which day between the throes of life. I can't choose which I like more than the other choice. I'm so confused for what I want my thoughts can't find a voice. The rough, the smooth, the small, the big the better? Soft of loud? Am I the river or the sea or should I for clouds? I am lost and I am burned every which way every which day between the throes of strife. Do I wish to take an ocean life? Loud, crowded; jostle and haste. Roam the large, meandering seas and keep the ocean's wild pace. I know that I'd be whirled and twirled cross the masses of each day. wondering if I really want this noisy life to stay. I am thrashed and I am thrown every which end every which bend between life's subtle foes. Am I a running river as I flow across the land? Nourishing and flourishing As silken smooth as sand. Do I help things grow wherever I go? Do I want a quiet life? Full of peace; quiet contentedness, near void from pain and strife. I am crashed and I and blown every which end every which bend between life's muddled blows. I am being tossed around where the seas and river meet. The ocean rough and grand and the river calm and fleet. Life is life and love is great whatever life I choose to live I'll never ask what's there for me, but ask what I can give. I am tossed and I am turned every which way every which day but now I'm here to live. |
