I wonder where the rainbow sleeps
when it disappears.
I wonder where the calm thoughts go
that quiet all my fears.

I wonder where the lights go
when the switch goes down.
I wonder if it's called HUMORcide
when someone kills a clown.

I wonder of the stars talk
when the clouds are out.
Can China hear the echo
when someone goes and shouts?

I wonder what the birds see
when they go upside down.
I wonder where the smiles hide
when chased away by frowns.

I also have to wonder
why certain friendships die.
I wonder why a lie is told
just for the sake of lies.

Why can't you see the airplane
when following the sound?
And why does rain whisper
when thunder gets to pound?

I wonder who's the blower when
the breeze blows through the lawn.
I wonder when the wondering stops
and life goes rolling on.
